The Chamber’s Governmental Affairs Committee me with lawmakers to discuss what is happening at the State Capitol. The committee took a position to oppose SB15-120. The committee also voted to support HB15-1040, HB15-1057, HB15-1065, HB15-1157, HB15-1177, SB15-044, SB15-069, SB15-141. Remote Testimony and Videoconferencing
With the use of technology, Chamber members and local businesses are directly benefitting from the ability to testify on legislation remotely. This technology allows your voice to be heard without having to travel to Denver to testify. This technology is also used in videoconferencing with our legislators. If you are in the Denver area and would like to join our legislators for a videoconference with the Grand Junction Area Chamber of Commerce Legislative Committee, you can join them on Tuesday, February 17th at 7:00am in the Capitol Building, Room 603.
