Bill Action
The Governmental Affairs Committee was very busy this week, taking action on a slew of bills. The committee took action to oppose the following bills: SB15-185, 215, 255, HB15-1300, 1205, 1264, 1291 and 1217 unless amended. The committee voted to support these bills: SB15-232, 244, HB15-1314 and 1227. To view all the bills that the Chamber is currently tracking click here.

Every Vote Counts - Have You Returned Your Ballot?
The Chamber’s Quarterly Membership luncheon on March 16th featured the City Council Candidate Forum. It was a great event, with all seven City Council Candidates participating. To view the GJACC Voter’s Guide, please click here. Be sure and return your ballots to City Hall by 7:00 PM on April 7th.

The Chamber’s Governmental Affairs Committee meets Tuesday, April 14th, 7:00 AM in the Gallegos Board Room and will once again conference with lawmakers using the new remote testimony features available. Thank you to Xcel Energy, this meeting’s sponsor.

The Chamber’s Energy Briefing this month on April 8th features David Warner from the National Renewable Energy Lab in Boulder discussing recent research.
