Pinnacol
Looks at Multi State Presence
Pinnacol
Assurance will be proposing legislation that
would allow it to form a subsidiary to offer
workers' compensation insurance in neighboring
states. This is designed to meet the needs of
employers who operate in several states and must
now purchase separate policies for its workforce
stationed outside Colorado. To learn more about

Swartout
and Sobanet Confirmed for Legislative Trip
John
Swartout, Senior Advisor to Governor Hickenlooper
and Henry Sobanet, Director of the Governor’s
Office of Planning and Budget have both been
confirmed as speakers for the Chamber’s Annual
Trip to the Capital slated for February 25th and
26th. The room block will be expiring in early
February so reservations are requested as quickly as

Market
Analysis for Development of Event Arena
Hunden
Strategic Partners was engaged by the City of Grand
Junction to analyze the market opportunity for a new
arena in downtown Grand Junction. The financial
feasibility of any such project will depend on the
participation of local companies and organizations
via the purchase or lease of premium suites, club
seating, naming rights, entitlement rights, and
advertising/signage. The purpose of this survey to
gauge the interest of local companies in these types
